UKAS Accreditation
What is UKAS Accreditation?
Accreditation by UKAS means that evaluating companies (i.e. testing and calibration laboratories, certification and inspection bodies) have been assessed against Internationally recognised standards in order to demonstrate their competence, impartiality and performance.
Why do we hold accreditation?
UKAS accreditation is now a legal requirement for companies carrying out measurement of airborne asbestos fibre concentrations and analysis of materials for the presence of asbestos (see Regulations 20 and 21 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006).
