Project details

A member of the prestigious Russell Group, the University of Manchester is the largest single-site university in the UK. With 347 buildings over 288 hectares, including Grade I and II listed properties and 144 residential buildings – 40% of which were constructed between 1960 and 1979 – this is a particularly complex contract.

Our dedicated project manager and their team of surveyors and analysts work sensitively and discreetly across residential areas, food courts, offices, lecture theatres, plant rooms, laboratories and workshops.

We work flexibly within the time constraints of the University’s operations, arranging out of hours sampling where necessary to keep staff and students safe and our presence discreet. We coordinate our internal tracking systems with the client to ensure deadlines are met in terms of sampling, analysis and technical review.
