Environmental Essentials win two golds at RoSPA Health and Safety Awards

Environmental Essentials has been handed two prestigious awards by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

The asbestos management company has achieved a Gold and Fleet Safety Gold in the internationally-renowned RoSPA Health and Safety Awards, in recognition of its working practices and achievements. The awards will be presented in a ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on Wednesday 4 July.

The RoSPA Awards scheme receives entries from organisations around the world. It recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

Kathryn Ing, Environmental Essentials’ Health Safety and Environmental Manager, said: “As a team, we work in high risk environments every day, whether on construction sites or inside asbestos enclosures. To keep our employees, our clients and their customers safe we exceed the standards required of us by health and safety legislation, so it’s fantastic to have our working practices recognised by RoSPA in their annual awards.”

Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of qualifications, awards and events, said: “The RoSPA Awards are the most highly-respected in the health and safety arena, with almost 2,000 entrants every year, and allow organisations to prove excellence in the workplace, demonstrating a commitment to the wellbeing of not only employees but all those who interact with it.”
