What can I expect from Environmental Essentials?

Application review

Your application will be reviewed by our recruitment team or the HR manager to check the match between your experience and skills and those required by the role. Telephone interviews may be conducted for some roles.

Assessment / Interview

If your application is successful at telephone interview stage, depending on the role, you will be invited to attend an assessment or interview. Assessments and Interviews may be carried out at a local venue or you may be required to travel to one of our Regional Offices.

Assessments and Interviews are used to ensure the evidence obtained during the selection process reflects the key requirements/competencies for the role. Typically, this may include behavioural and technical competency tests.

You will be required to bring with you all relevant qualification certificates, proof of identification in the form of a passport, proof of address and driver’s licence *role dependent (card and counterpart), to assessments/interviews.

Pre-employment checks

Environmental Essentials has a responsibility to protect its business, employees and customers and as a result, will undertake pre-employment checks. The nature of the checks will vary according to the role applied for and may include details of current/previous employment, criminal record check, credit reference check, education and proof of relevant qualifications. Environmental Essentials will also take references for everyone who is offered employment. All employees will be asked for evidence of their right to live and work in the UK. Training

Each of our new starters will go through an induction into the role and the business. Upon commencement of employment recruits could possibly be placed in locations outside of the area they were recruited for, to complete their training; if necessary, Environmental Essentials will provide accommodation if the travel to the training centre is excessive.
